The New Michelin Pilot Road 3: Making a Great Tire Even Better

I will start with the fact that I am a fan of the Michelin Pilot Road line of tires. I used the Pilot Road 1 tires on a Yamaha YZF1000 with great results. A couple of years later, I spooned on a pair of Pilot Road 2s on a Triumph Sprint 955. Again, I was more than happy with the predictable grip and longevity of the tires. With that history in mind, you can see why I am excited to hear of the release of the new Pilot Road 3 tires.

I guess you could call me obsessive about motorcycle maintenance. I keep detailed records of even the most trivial maintenance that I perform on my bikes. I dutifully research lubricants, spark plugs and even fuel brands before I use them. Michelin Introduces Pilot 3 Tires

Michelin is ringing in the new year with a new set of Sport Touring tires. The Michelin Pilot 3 tires debut in January, and surpass the benchmark set by the Pilot 2's. The Pilot 3 tires have great grip in the wet, even wear, and a long life.
