SUPERTRAPP PHANTOM PIPE NOW AVAILABLE

SuperTrapp Industries (www.SuperTrapp.com) pioneered the way almost forty years ago. They continue to remain on the cutting edge of designing, testing and manufacturing the original, high quality, tunable, aftermarket performance exhausts right here in the U.S.A. SuperTrapp performance exhausts are for a variety of motor vehicle applications, including motorcycles, ATV and automotive.

For riders seeking to add custom style to their bike at a less-than-custom price, SuperTrapp announces the SuperTrapp-manufactured, Road Legends Baffled FLH Phantom Pipe in black ceramic for Harley-Davidson FLH / FLT 2010 (P/N 138-71594P $1,299.00).  The FLH Phantom Pipe is a curvy 2:1 pipe based off of the the original, but rather than a slash cut, it has a decorative billet end cap with engraved domino dots.  The FLH Phantom Pipe comes with 4-piece stylized chrome heatshields.

The FLH Phantom Pipe is a quieter, baffled pipe derived from the “arrival-announcing” original Phantom Pipe for Softails and Customs.  The FLH Phantom Pipe is also available for ’85 – ’09 models (P/N 138-71592, MSRP $1299.00) and includes O2 plugs. It extends past the rear foot peg and ensures a cool ride, even for the passenger.   This is the newest addition to the Road Legends series, designed my master builder Paul Yaffe and manufactured by SuperTrapp.

The FLH Phantom Pipe is the fourth creation born out of the partnership between SuperTrapp and Yaffe.  The Yaffe-designed Road Legends series also includes the 2-inch straight through X Pipes, the 2-inch straight through upswept drag pipes with a laser cut claw tip known as Crack Pipes and the original Phantom Pipe.

The Road Legends exhausts have become some of SuperTrapp’s best selling systems, with more designs from Yaffe planned for the near future.

SuperTrapp Launches Mean Mothers Slip-Ons for H-D ’09 – ’10 Touring Models

SuperTrapp Industries (www.SuperTrapp.com) pioneered the way almost forty years ago. They continue to remain on the cutting edge of designing, testing and manufacturing the original, high quality, tunable, aftermarket performance exhausts right here in the U.S.A. SuperTrapp performance exhausts are for a variety of motor vehicle applications, including motorcycles, ATV and automotive.

SuperTrapp Mean Mothers just got meaner.  Mean Mothers are now available for the first time as Slip-Ons (P/N 138-72582, MSRP $499.00) Mean Mothers Slip-Ons are available in chrome for H-D ’09 – ’10 Touring Models. These offer the same loud and throaty, drag pipe sound as the original Mean Mothers, but are 2 ¾” chrome-plated heatshields with a stainless steel 2 ¼ expansion chamber, with Black Ceramic Coated Billet End Caps. They also include a removable louvered core.

These new Mean Mothers Slip-Ons allow you to simply add these to the ends of your stock head pipes.  Mean Mothers Slip-Ons offer that drag pipe sound without the drag pipe price.   The straight lines on these chrome beauties accentuate the lines of the bike.  The Black Ceramic Coated Billet end caps contrasting with the chrome pipes really make these jump out.

The heavy rumbled sound of thunder you get with SuperTrapp’s original Mean Mothers Systems let everyone know these are not your grandpa’s cackling drag pipes.

The entire Mean Mothers family are available in Chrome and select Systems are available in Black Ceramic also. Mean Mothers give your bike a hot-rod sound with an intense, booming, roar.

Mean Mothers offer a 7.5 lbs. or 33% weight savings and an 8% hp gain over stock, so you will need to be prepared when you twist the throttle.

Choose from 4 different 2.5" pipe lengths: Short, Standard, Long or Staggered. Baffles and heat shields are pre-installed. The heat shields are also replaceable. Standard Chrome End Caps are included with all lengths. Mean Mothers are compatible with Slash Cut and Turndown / Out 90 Degree Rotatable end caps.

Mean Mothers provide the ultimate in durability, strength at high temperatures and corrosion resistance with its stainless steel head pipe constructions.  The one-piece heatshield protects the rider and enables easy installation.

The 1 ¾” stainless steel, single-stepped headpipe flows into the 2 ¼” expansion chamber with a removable baffle while complementing the straight lines of your bike.  Standard Chrome end caps are included and a variety of other end caps like the Turndown/90 Degree Rotatable and Slash Cut are also compatible with the entire Mean Mothers Line, excluding Mean Mothers Slip-Ons.

Mounting Mean Mothers is a breeze.  They are fully assembled and can be installed within minutes.  A self-contained nut as part of the mount bracket means that a separate lock-washer is not needed. That equates to less hardware, fewer pieces to manage, less time spent installing and more time being able to ride.

Select models of Mean Mothers are also available in SuperPak Performance Kits.

SuperTrapp SE and Kerker Slip-Ons Now Available for 2010 Road Glide / Street Glide

SuperTrapp Industries (www.SuperTrapp.com) is a leading manufacturer of comprehensive performance exhaust systems for a variety of motor vehicle applications, including motorcycles, ATV and automotive.

Now, there is a brand new addition to the SE line.  The 2010 SE (P/N 128-65119, MSRP $249.00) has arrived and it was specifically designed for the 2010 Harley-Davidson Street Glide (FLHX) / Road Glide (FLTR) models.  It has all of the great features of the SE series but has been redesigned to produce that signature SE sound on the 2010 stock head pipes which were redesigned by the factory on the new bikes.

SE’s are constructed with a chrome-plated, steel shell and a steel core.  Their race-proven baffle increases torque and horsepower.  SE’s feature a unique internal baffle heatshield design.  The muffler is rebuildable.  The core is replaceable.

SuperTrapp’s SE Series have been used by one of the largest motorcycle OEMs in the world.  SE Series are commonly known as the old H-D Performance II Muffler for FLH and FLT ’95 – ’10 and for FLSTS ’97 – ’07.  They’re the champion of numerous magazine shootouts with a 7 – 12% horsepower gain.  SE’s are the king of bottom-mid range torque with a steady, tough, low rumble and are only 3dB louder than stock.

Kerker Slip-Ons and Full Systems have been the choice of riders for years.  These have the same look as the SE Series, but more thunder down under.

A new addition to the Kerker family has also arrived.   The Kerker Slip-On (P/N 128-78122, MSRP $249.00) like the SE, has also been developed specifically for the 2010 Harley-Davidson Street Glide (FLHX) / Road Glide (FLTR) models.  These new Kerker Slip-Ons produce that signature Kerker sound in conjunction with the new factory head pipes.   Kerker Slip-Ons have a proven 7 – 13% horsepower gains with great mid-high range power.  Kerker Slip-Ons are 8dB louder than stock with a profound, deep, throaty rumble.  Kerker Slip-Ons keep matinenance at a low with a rebuildable core and packing.  A Mikuni Core is available for peak performance and ultimate flow.

SE Series and Kerker Slip-Ons are compatible with 17 end caps, including the brand new, Black End Cap Line allowing riders the ultimate in personalization.  All 17 end caps also fit H-D Performance II Mufflers making them great replacement parts.

SUPERTRAPP AND KERKER TWO INTO ONE SUPERMEGS FOR 2010 FLH / FLT

SuperTrapp Industries (www.SuperTrapp.com) pioneered the way almost forty years ago. They continue to remain on the cutting edge of designing, testing and manufacturing the original, high quality, tunable, aftermarket performance exhausts right here in the U.S.A. SuperTrapp performance exhausts are for a variety of motor vehicle applications, including motorcycles, ATV and automotive.

SuperTrapp’s best-performing pipes are their 2:1’s and countless dyno shootouts prove it.  Riders and dealers have to wait no longer for the much anticipated tunable, disc-based, SuperTrapp 2:1 SuperMegs in chrome (P/N 828-71580, MSRP $789.00) or black (P/N 827-71580, MSRP $839.00) and non-tunable, non-disc based Kerker 2:1 SuperMegs also in chrome (P/N 128-71580, MSRP $749.00) or black (P/N 127-71580, $799.00) for the 2010 FLH.  They have arrived! SuperTrapp engineered their 2:1 it to provide the same great sound and performance gains that riders expect and have made these pipes one of SuperTrapp’s top-selling exhaust systems for almost 40 years.

All SuperTrapp and Kerker 2:1 SuperMegs work with OEM forward and mid controls.  They include 3-piece head pipe heat shields.

SuperTrapp 2:1 SuperMegs provide a 15% bolt-on horsepower gain across the board.  The core and packing are rebuildable.  They include twenty, 4” discs and a Polished Billet End Cap.  The 2.5" collector allows maximum flow for even the largest big bore motors.  The universal transmission mount bracket makes installation a breeze.

The sound levels and power band can be adjusted by adding or removing 4” external discs.  Adding discs increases the exhaust outlet and decreases back pressure.  This effectively widens the power band at the top end. It also increases exhaust tone and leans out carburetion.  In short, adding discs increases the horsepower, exhaust tone and flow.

Subtracting discs decreases the exhaust opening and increases backpressure.  This effectively decreases the power band to create more low-end torque.  It also decreases exhaust tone and enriches carburetion.  Meaning, that subtracting 4” discs decreases the exhaust tone and flow, but increases the low-end torque.

SuperTrapp 2:1 SuperMegs can be run with either an open end cap or a closed end cap.  The general rule of thumb that riders need to keep in mind is that running an open end cap is equivalent to 10 – 12 discs.

The non-tunable, Kerker 2:1 SuperMeg features a full flow mechanical core for a deep throaty sound and excellent top end performance.  These pipes shift the power curve to the top-end, making them unsurpassed at high RPMs.  Kerker exhausts are known for their deep, throaty, bottomless rumble and these are no exception.

Both exhausts are also available for 2010 and earlier Sportster, Softail, Dyna and Touring models. O2 plugs are included for early model applications. Both pipes are also available for 230 and 250 wide tire customs.
