Josh Hayes Confirms His Podium Position

Josh Hayes confirmed he will be on the pole position for the Great Clips West Coast Moto Jam pair of SuperBike Races in Sonoma California, with a 1:35.872. With over 800th of a second between them at 1:36.775 Roger Hayden on his National Guard Jordan Suzuki was the closest to the pole sitter.

Jason Disalvo on Pole with Triumph at Infineon Raceway

Jason DiSalvo made the pole again this year at Infineon, on a totally different machine to last year. He swapped his Ducati 848 Team Latus Racing for a Triumph 675R Team Latus Racing machine.

And when asked about the differences between the two machines at this track his response was " The Triumph is so nimble down this back twisty section through 7, 8 and 9 all the way to the chicane. Also it is really balanced, this is probably one of the most creative I have been here at Infineon raceway, with corner entries, backing the thing in, sliding it, I feel like I am riding a dirt bike in my back yard. I feel like I can do anything on this bike."

DiSalvo's pole time was 1:38.159.
