James Rispoli is sitting on pole for the AMA Pro Motorcycle Superstore Supersport race at Infineon Raceway CA.

Josh Hayes on his Monster Energy Graves Yamaha R1 had the fastest lap in the first practice session with a 1: 36.773 on lap 20.

Number 25 David Anthony on his Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000 was second with a 1:37.697 lap on his 19th lap.

Blake Young was third with his Yoshimura Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000 137:796 on lap 18, with Ben Bostrom following 138.062 on his Jordan Suzuki GSX-R1000.

AMA Pro Road Racing Round 2: Triumph Big Kahuna Atlanta

Round 2 of the AMA Pro Road Racing 2012 season is about to hit Braselton, Georgia. It's a weekend full of racing at the Triumph Big Kahuna Atlanta at the Road Atlanta race track, starting Friday when practice and qualifying races are held for the SuperBike, SuperSport, and Daytona SportBike classes. It's going to be a hot weekend in Atlanta, that's for sure.
